brightfire looked around the nursery,it was quite nice and would be perfect to raise her kits.she quickly made herself a warm nest and lay down in it to rest.
Streakstar walked in, Navypaw and Hawkpaw right behind him, holding more than enough moss. "Brightfire, is everything okay? I hope its warm enough, if not we could always switch dens." He looked at Navypaw and Hawkpaw, a stern look in his eyes. "These two couldnt help but scare off half the prey in the forest, you can do what you want with them." ~Streakstar
Navypaw and Hawkpaw bowed their heads, partly ashamed, partly amused. They knew he was mad, but that he found it fuuny too. ~Navypaw and Hawkpaw
brightfire noded to streakstar."no this den is perfect."she mew smiling.looking at the two apprentices she smiled."i'll see what i can do to keep this two busy."she mewed in mock seriosness.
"Maybe you can actually teach them some sense." He purred and flicked Navypaw's ear with his tail. "Make them use their manners. If a mother cant do it, no one can." He smiled at her warmly. ~Streakstar
brightfire noded."hmm..we'll now if these two were kits i'd make them clean the medecinecat's and elder's along with the nursery's bedding.all under supervision of course."she mewed,her eyes warm and loving."you can be sure i'll teach them a leson they won't soon forget."she mewed then a thought ocured to her.that could be a punishment thought.treating them like kits.
"Im good, but thanks anyway." Came the voice of Navypaw, grinning amused. ~Navypaw
Hawkpaw nudged his friend, knowing more respect than her. "Of course Brightfire." He dipped his head politley. ~Hawkpaw
Streakstar smiled at Hawkpaw, but shot a stern glance at Navypaw, then smiled at Brightfire again. "You have my permission to work a good punishment into them. Thanks." Streakstar purred then turned to walk out. ~Streakstar
brightstar noded as streakstar paded out.then turned to the apprentice."well hawkit,navykit do you know what your punishment is?"she mewed a wise look in her eye.
brightfire laughed."and that's not kit like?"suddenly she felt pain in her stomac and her eyes slowly betrade her pain,she let out a yowl of surprise and releif as mistyfeather paded into the nursery.seeing the expression on brightfeather's eyes she calmly mewed,"lay down in your nest brightfire.you'll be fine,i'm here and i'll help you."she mewed.

brightfire looked down warmly at her two kits.two she-cats.one was a light brown courlered,and the other was ginger and white.looking down warmly at them she named the brown one mousekit and the ginger one otterkit."otterkit and mousekit."she purred.mistyfeather examined the new mother and kits,giving brightfire some borage before pading back to her den.
